Barcelona boss Hansi Flick has won the Coach of the Month award for the first time this season after a great few weeks with the Catalan giants.
Flick has overseen wins over Rayo Vallecano, Sevilla and Athletic Club to keep Barcelona at the top of the table heading into the international break.
The Barcelona boss was happy to see his team sign off with a win after a hectic few weeks both in La Liga and the Champions League.
“It hasn’t been easy for us, but after so many matches in recent weeks, the three points were the most important thing. Now we have two weeks off,” he told reporters after the game.
“The players are going away to join their national teams. We know there’s a World Cup coming up and everyone wants to be with their country, so it’s understandable.”
Barcelona players are now off on international duty but will return on April 4th against Atletico in La Liga.
