Jordan takes the next step
Curtis informs Jordan about giving the house to Portia. She then asks him to move in with her, while thinking about the pregnancy test in her bag. On the other hand, Isaiah doubts that Curtis gave away the house to Portia without other intentions in mind. However, Portia believes otherwise, thinking that having the house would make co-parenting easier.
Carly’s close call
Carly snoops around at Wyndemere and discovers a secret locker behind a painting. Before she gets to do anything, Ava shows up. While the two bicker over Lucas, Sidwell enters the room. He explains to Ava that he invited Carly to bond with Lucas and Marco, and asks her to join as well. Although she accepted the invite, Ava doesn’t feel good having Carly around.
An emergency operation
At the hospital, Nathan questions Chase and Brook Lynn on how they found Delilah. They recount the evening and explain that they only know the woman’s first name. Meanwhile, Delilah’s condition becomes critical, and the doctors perform an emergency C-section in the room. Dr. Alcott and Liz stabilize the baby while Lucas and Britt try to save the mother. Despite their best efforts, they couldn’t save Delilah.
Valentin gets caught
Lulu and Charlotte arrive at Carly’s house to drop off supplies. Lulu takes the moment to vent to her daughter about running off during the storm. Valentin eavesdrops on their conversation. Suddenly, Joss drops by, and Charlotte sneaks into the attic to meet her father. He thinks it’s a bad idea to risk her life to meet him.
After Lulu and Charlotte leave, Joss starts hearing noises from somewhere within the house. She arms herself and investigates it. Joss reaches the attic, where she finds Valentin with his back towards her.
Caught in public
Nathan goes to the park and finds a purse that appears to belong to Delilah. When he returns to the hospital, he stumbles into Lulu. After a brief discussion about Maxie, they express their feelings for each other and kiss. Unknown to them, Felicia sees them kissing.
The aftermath
Lucas checks up on the baby and informs Brook Lynn and Chase that the baby is stable. Brook Lynn vows to reunite the baby with Delilah’s family. Meanwhile, Britt is in the locker room, crying over the patient she just lost. Liz shows up and comforts her.
