BEIJING, Nov 2 (Reuters) – China’s Commerce Minister Wang Wentao met with South Korea’s trade and industry minister on Saturday and discussed safeguarding the stability of supply chains, Wang’s ministry said in a statement released on Sunday.
Both sides should enhance communication through existing export control and supply chain mechanisms to ensure the smooth operation of supply chains between China and South Korea, said Wang. He was among officials accompanying Chinese President Xi Jinping on a trip to South Korea to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum.
