Armed robbery nets €50,000 in mobile phones in Thessaloniki


Two masked men carried out an armed robbery at a mobile phone store in Stavroupoli, Thessaloniki, on Wednesday morning.

The suspects entered the shop wearing helmets and threatened staff with a firearm, seizing 47 mobile phones valued at more than 50,000 euros. After the theft, they fled the scene on a motorcycle, police said.

The suspects remain at large, and investigators are conducting a manhunt and preliminary inquiries.

Authorities are reviewing security footage and gathering witness statements to track down those responsible.
