In a market-moving Truth Social post Friday, Trump said he saw “no reason” to meet Xi later this month as planned. Trump later said he would impose 100% tariffs on China and export controls on “any and all critical software” starting on Nov. 1. The moves are a response to the Chinese government’s decision to limit exports of rare earths to the United States.
