While at the training facility, the Girl Scouts worked with Sgt. Sarah Coull and Ofc. Krystal Holland of the Chesapeake Police Department. The instrutors led classroom education and pistol shooting courses. Following introductory safety training, the girls got hands-on experience loading and unloading simulated rounds into magazines.

They also practiced appropriate finger placement and trigger discipline on the range and taking aim at targets, while using professional-grade training pistols.
