Cesc Fabregas will be the focus of attention this evening in the traditional pre-season tournament, as he is back against his first love, the Blaugrana, but behind the scenes his directors are working on negotiations for Inaki Pena.
After a few too many controversial headlines and missteps, Barcelona resolved the Marc-Andre ter Stegen issue and can therefore release Pena for his next experience.
The 26-year-old was a product of the Barcelona youth academy and his only other club was Galatasaray in a six-month spell in 2022.
Despite all that, he only made 45 competitive appearances for the senior team.
