6 Nashville-area coffee trucks worth checking out this summer

Yes, it is hot outside, but that does not mean you have to stay parched all summer!

Whether you are headed to a farmers market, meeting friends, hitting the links, taking in the Nashville summer, or just trying to find a better iced latte than your usual drive-thru order, the Nashville area has plenty of coffee trucks worth checking out.

Here are six local coffee trucks and mobile coffee stops to keep on your list for the rest of this summer:

1. Surefire Coffee

Surefire Coffee has become a familiar name around the area, with several local stops and a mobile-friendly setup for coffee lovers on the move. They serve espresso drinks, cold coffee, seasonal options, and other specialty drinks.

Hours and locations can change, so it never hurts to be nosy about the shop’s whereabouts!

2. Dose Dealer

For my Capitol View people, Dose Dealer is one of the more eye-catching coffee stops in Nashville. The shop operates out of a restored Airstream and serves lattes, matcha, tea and pastries.

It is a solid stop if you are near 11th Avenue North, Germantown, or the North Gulch area and want something quick, cute, and local.

3. Cafe del Sol

This truck will blow your mind.

Located at 3701 Hillsboro Pike in Green Hills, the Mexican-inspired mobile coffee shop serves coffee, matcha, refreshers, lattes, and food options including gorditas, empanadas, and quesadillas!

I have had this one myself, and it is absolutely worth the stop if you are in the Green Hills area and want something different. You might catch me back out there again!

4. Yeast Nashville

Yeast Nashville is already known around East Nashville for its Czech-style kolaches, but it is also a strong morning stop for anyone wanting coffee with breakfast. The truck serves Drew’s Brews coffee along with sweet and savory kolaches, making it a good option if you want more than just a drink.

5. Soulfire Coffee

Soulfire Coffee is a Nashville-based mobile espresso cart that brings coffee to pop-ups, weddings, corporate events, markets and private gatherings across Middle Tennessee.

This is one to watch if you are looking for a local mobile coffee setup at an event, or if you spot them out in the wild at a market or community gathering.

6. Prickly Pear Coffee Co.

Now this is such a strong pick if you are spending time in Franklin or catching one of its Nashville-area setups.

The business has coffee shops, a coffee cart, and coffee campers, and its Franklin location has also hosted outdoor Pilates events. So yes, coffee and Pilates can absolutely be the move on a slow Saturday morning.

I have tried Prickly Pear too, and it fits the exact vibe of this list: local, easy to recommend, and a good reason to get outside.

My guys out there, don’t be ashamed of a little Coffee and Pilates. Makes for a great date! Thank me later.
