Peacock‘s new releases this week include the 2024 relaunch called The Strangers: Chapter 1, which is a remake of sorts of 2008’s cult classic horror, The Strangers.
The film follows Maya, played by Madelaine Petsch, and Froy Gutierrez’s Ryan. The young couple gets stranded in the remote town of Venus, Oregon, after their car breaks down. Forced into an isolated Airbnb, they endure a night of relentless, motiveless terror at the hands of three masked killers who torture them simply because they are there. It arrives on Peacock on May 30.
Also releasing on Peacock this week, on May 27, is Summer House Season 10 – Reunion Part 1. It dives into the fallout from Amanda Batula and West Wilson’s confirmed romance. Andy Cohen sits down with the cast to confront the love triangle and the fractures left behind.
Meanwhile, the Season 4 finale of Southern Hospitality arrives on Peacock on May 28. The episode features the crew’s emotional final group dinner, the fallout from Maddi’s international DJ set, and rising tensions.
