Authorities in Glassboro are seeking the public’s help identifying two men who allegedly threw a chair at a police officer, hitting the officer in the head inside a Domino’s Pizza on Saturday.
Officers responded to the Gloucester County store at about 2:44 a.m. for a report of a large fight, authorities said.
While police were making multiple arrests, two men threw a chair, which struck one of the officers in the back of the head, authorities said.
“Not only was this intentional, they found it extremely hysterical while they ran from the scene,” the police department said in a Facebook post, which included surveillance footage capturing the incident.
A spokesperson for the department could not be reached Sunday for additional information.
Anyone with information about the identities of the individuals is asked to anonymously text “GLASSPD” to 847411, call 856-881-1500 or email Det. Sean Aitken at saitken@glassboropd.org.
