YouTuber IShowSpeed experiences local culture in Hong Kong

American YouTuber ‘IShowSpeed’ came to Hong Kong on Friday and enjoyed various local customs, such as villain hitting, and visited the pandas in Ocean Park.

American YouTuber ‘IShowSpeed’ recently concluded his tour of mainland China and made a memorable visit to Hong Kong on April 4. Known for his vibrant and engaging personality, IShowSpeed has been captivating a global audience with his live streams from various locations across China, including Shanghai, Beijing, Henan, Sichuan, and Chongqing.

During his time in Hong Kong today, IShowSpeed immersed himself in the local culture. His day began at Times Square in Causeway Bay, followed by an intriguing participation in the traditional practice of “villain hitting” at the Goose Neck Bridge in Wan Chai, where he used shoes as part of the ritual.

The highlight of his visit was at Ocean Park, where he encountered giant pandas for the first time. Visibly amazed, he exclaimed, “I can’t believe these are real animals!” He also had the opportunity to feed penguins under the supervision of park staff, adding to his unique experiences.

IShowSpeed also indulged in iconic Hong Kong street food, such as egg waffles, and engaged with the local community in various ways. He played basketball with locals, interacted with firefighters, and even helped a passerby tie their shoelaces, showcasing his down-to-earth personality.

Throughout his visit, IShowSpeed attracted large crowds of fans and onlookers, who were eager to interact with him, request autographs, and take photos. His enthusiastic and genuine interactions helped enhance the positive image of China and break down cultural barriers, challenging the stereotypical views often portrayed in Western media.
