It is all about music in the Greater Bay Area this October, with concerts from some of the biggest names in Cantopop, as well as a performance by American rapper Travis Scott, plus a major music festival.

1. Strawberry Music Festival Guangzhou
The 2025 Guangzhou Super Strawberry Festival will take place at the city’s Nansha Music Showcase from October 2-4.
The three-day extravaganza, among China’s biggest outdoor music festivals, has a great international line-up, including Solitude is Bliss – an alternative rock band from Chiang Mai, Thailand – and XG, a Japanese-Korean girl group.
The second day of the festival, October 3, will be “Cantonese day”, during which big-name performers will include Miriam Yeung Chin-wah, Karen Mok Man-wai, Grasshopper and Mr, as well as younger artists such as Phil Lam Yik-hong and Moon Tang.
Besides the music, the festival will also have interactive art exhibits, pop-up stalls and diverse food options.
