Aubrey Plaza and her plus-one were glowing at the 2026 Tony Awards.
Plaza, alongside partner and “Death of a Salesman” star Chris Abbott, craddled her baby bump while wearing a Chanel black pinstriped dress. Abbott matched in a black tux and skinny tie.
Abbott was up for best performance by an actor in a featured role in a play at the Tonys, for his portrayal as Biff Loman in the Arthur Miller revival. He lost to Alden Ehrenreich for his role as Max in the latest revival of Gina Gionfriddo’s “Becky Shaw.” However, “Death of a Salesman” did manage to pick up the Tony for best revival of a play, among five other wins.
A rep for Plaza first confirmed to People in April that the couple were expecting. The “Parks and Recreation” star, 41, spoke about her pregnancy for the first time while appearing on the “SmartLess” podcast weeks later. She surprised hosts Will Arnett, Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes by quipping during the interview, “There’s a baby inside of me.”
Plaza joked, “I got an ultrasound on my stomach, and there is a baby in there. And it already has a cloak and a little hat.”

And a pregnant Plaza appeared in the penultimate episode of Stephen Colbert’s “Late Show” to interview the comedian. Rubbing her belly, she joked, “My water broke backstage. They said it was going to take a couple of hours, so I could still do this.” Colbert quipped back, “That’s very generous of you. We’ll get a Squeegee.”
Plaza and the “Girls” actor, 40, have previously worked together on the off-Broadway revival of “Danny and the Deep Blue Sea.” The pair also starred together in “Black Bear,” a 2020 Sundance-premiered psychological drama written and directed by Lawrence Michael Levine.
