Good morning. Stocks bounced on Friday as oil prices eased on hopes of a potential deal to open the Strait of Hormuz.

The move higher follows a much-anticipated dinner between President Trump, Chinese leader Xi Jinping, and a list of tech titans, including Nvidia’s (NVDA) Jensen Huang, AMD’s (AMD) Lisa Su, and Tesla’s (TSLA) Elon Musk.

The 10-year Treasury yield (^TNX) climbed to 5.17%, while Brent crude futures (BZ=F) fell to near $98 per barrel. The US dollar index (DX-Y.NYB) eased, giving support to equities.
