EL DORADO, Ark. (KNOE) – A new, health-focused eatery in downtown El Dorado is serving up more than just meals — it’s delivering a bold new approach to clean eating.
Swole Food, co-founded by local entrepreneurs Jason and Kelly Shanas offers high-protein bowls, wraps, smoothies, snacks and meal prep options designed to fuel the body without sacrificing flavor.
“Swole Food is kind of the brainchild of Jason and me,” Shanas said. “We spent about eight to nine months developing our business plan, crafting our menus, and perfecting natural recipes, low sugar, high protein, and good fats.”
Aimed especially at younger generations, the business hopes to make healthy eating more accessible in an area often dominated by fast food.
“There are so many people my age looking for something healthy,” Shanas said. “In college, we got tired of eating bad. We want to bring something better — not just here, but across Northeast Louisiana.”
The team is already planning to expand to Monroe and West Monroe, starting with ready-made meals available at Next Level Fitness.
“We’d appreciate the support,” Day added. “Prep meals are coming first”
With community in mind and health at heart, Swole Food is proving that eating clean in El Dorado and soon beyond can be cool, convenient, and crave-worthy.
