接二連三，有教授收學生的茅台和冬蟲草、有教授賄賂地產代理，要求隱瞞違約事實以節省賠償金，令人側目的是，後者竟還抱怨「香港人特別（多）規矩」。 聽到這句話，我倒抽一口氣。香港人確實「多規矩」，這規矩叫「廉潔」，它不是香港獨有，而是文明社會應有的普世價值。港人從小被教育，不能貪污，不行賄不受賄，公器不可私用。這些規矩，不是為了刁難誰，而是為了保持一個文明社會應有的標準。 然後，本月中又爆出有教授涉嫌從友人處收受賄款四萬元，再向兩名職員分別提供五千元及一千元「紅包」，以協助一名學生入讀碩士課程。四萬元，就買起一個學位。這現象反映甚麼？反映的是，知識成了某些人攀爬社會階梯的工具，卻未將法規與誠信內化成道德修養。他們撰寫論文、申請研究經費，卻不懂得最簡單的道理——拿了不該拿的錢，就叫做「受賄」；送了不該送的錢，就叫做「行賄」。更令人憂心的是，香港的大學入學制度，向來以公平公正著稱。近年已滲入虛假學歷、偽造履歷，若還有教授在裏應外合，幫助申請人入讀，那還得了？ 每次見到這些新聞，我都忍不住想：大學的人力資源部門，在招聘學者，除了審閱他們的履歷外，可否加強一項更基本的入職培訓——講解一下，在香港，甚麼是「受賄」，甚麼是「行賄」？聽起來荒謬吧？堂堂學者，難道連這都不懂？ 但現實告訴我們，有些人真的不懂。若大學能在入職時，清清楚楚地講一遍香港的防貪條例，舉幾個真實案例，說明收受學生紅包和禮物、甚至以「借」為名收受名貴物品，又或用錢收買他人，全都觸犯法律——這不是侮辱他們的智商，而是為了保護他們免受無知或貪心蒙蔽而誤墮法網，更是保護大學的聲譽。 畢竟，一粒老鼠屎，足以壞了一鍋粥。而近期的「老鼠屎」，似乎有點多。 Source link
