Meghan Markle just brought her signature California chic style to Paris Fashion Week—for the first time ever. The As Ever founder made a surprise appearance at the Balenciaga Womenswear Spring/Summer 2026 show on October 4 wearing a dramatic sharp white ensemble that tapped into some of her favorite styling tricks.
Markle rocked a look from the new line: a flowing long sleeve white button-down, which she wore over a pair of matching wide leg pants. Adding a dramatic flair to the look, she wore a long cape draped over her shoulders and trailing behind her. She paired the white look with strong black touches, carrying a rectangular clutch and wearing sharp pointed toe heels that peeked out from below her long pants. She wore a single gold necklace and small diamond earrings. As for her hair, she went for a sleek low bun and finished off the look with a glowy, fresh makeup look.

She looked ready to set sail
Markle had previously teased her trip to Paris with a cryptic Instagram Story that showed her feet walking in the white look across a marble floor set to a French song by Juilen Doré. She also shared a video of the streets of Paris filmed from her car window.
Markle made her first trip to Paris Fashion Week “in support Pierpaolo Piccioli, who recently assumed the role of Creative Director for the House”, a spokesman told Hello.

“Over the years, the Duchess has worn a number of designs by Pierpaolo. They have worked closely together collaborating on design for key moments on the world stage,” the spokesperson added. “She has long admired his craftsmanship and modern elegance, and tonight was no different. This evening reflects the culmination of many years of artistry and friendship, reflected in her support for his new creative chapter at Balenciaga.”
Markle was later spotted in Paris in the evening wearing a similar understated modern look—but this time, a black version. Heading out for the night, she rocked a long black sleeveless dress paired with a cape which fell across one shoulder.
