Around these parts, we’re big fans of Peacock thanks to it’s incredible sports coverage that includes the 2026 Winter Olympics and Super Bowl LX, on top of great original shows like The Traitors and Love Island USA. But like nearly every other streaming service, Peacock implemented a price increase recently, and monthly subscriptions are now running customers $10.99/month for an ad-supported plan and $16.99/month for an ad-free plan, a pretty hefty increase from previous rates.
If you’re hoping there’s a way to watch this weekend’s Super Bowl, or the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Games without having to pay more, there are actually several ways to not just get a discount, but to get a subscription for free. Bet you didn’t realize that services like Walmart+ and Instacart+ offer Peacock Premium as a part of their plans. And TV and streaming providers like Xfinity and Spectrum also have deals that offer Peacock as part of their packages.
Here are some of the best ways to get a Peacock subscription for free so you can watch the Super Bowl, the Winter Games, and more, for absolutely nothing.
Get Peacock for free with Walmart+
Peacock is home to all kinds of original content, from Emmy Award-winning reality series The Traitors to Poker Face and Twisted Metal. In addition to original content, the platform has an impressive library of shows from NBC and Bravo, thousands of movies, and live sports.
While a regular Peacock subscription begins at $10.99 for a Premium Plan and goes up to $16.99 for the ad-free Premium Plus plan, you can get an ad-supported subscription for free if you’re a Walmart+ subscriber.
Walmart+ members actually get their choice between Paramount+ or Peacock included in their membership at no additional cost. A monthly subscription to Walmart+ costs $12.99, and an annual plan usually costs $98 — for free Peacock, and additional perks like five free months of Apple Music, discounts on Cinemark movie theater memberships, free shipping and delivery on Walmart purchases, discounts on gas, and much more.
Get Peacock Premium free with Instacart+
Instacart+ subscribers are able to get an annual Peacock Premium plan (a $109.99 value) for free as part of their plan. After a free 14-day trial, Instacart+ plans cost $99/year, meaning you’ll save more on Peacock simply by subscribing to the delivery service, but you’ll get tons of extras, like free grocery and restaurant delivery, and a free subscription to the NY Times Cooking app, too.
Subscribe to an Xfinity Now TV plan and get Peacock free
An Xfinity Now TV plan gives viewers the option to stream 125+ live TV and On Demand channels, and adds on a Peacock Premium subscription at no extra cost. Streaming plans start at $20/month through Xfinity and you must be an Xfinity internet subscriber to take advantage.
Get Peacock free with a Spectrum TV cable package
Get a discounted student rate
While a normal Peacock Premium subscription costs $10.99/month, eligible students can get one for just $5.99/month for a full year. Eligible students who continue to meet verification requirements are able to renew this offer annually.
Get a bundled rate by combining Peacock and Apple TV
In 2025, Peacock and Apple TV announced a partnership to bundle both services at a lower rate than if you subscribed separately. An ad-supported Apple TV/Peacock Premium bundle costs $14.99/month, or the ad-free Apple TV and Peacock Premium Plus will run you $19.99/month – not a bad deal if you’re already subscribing to both plans.
Customers in the U.S. can save over 30% on regular prices by subscribing to the Apple TV and Peacock Premium bundle for $14.99/month, or the ad-free Apple TV and Peacock Premium Plus for $19.99/month, through either app or website. (If you’re an existing Apple One subscriber on a Family or Premier plan, you can subscribe to Peacock Premium Plus and receive a special 35 percent discount.)
This first-of-its-kind bundle offers the best of both services, from their award-winning originals, live events and sports, and blockbuster movies. You’ll get shows like Ted Lasso, Severance, The Paper, The Traitors, MLS and MLB games, the NBA (tipping off October 21 on Peacock), and much more, all through one convenient monthly subscription.
Note, this bundle cannot be purchased on third party device partners, and the Apple TV subscription (formerly Apple TV+) does not include third party branded subscription services or content available for rental or purchase in the Apple TV app.
If none of these streaming deals for free Peacock apply to you, you can still sign up the platform, though you’ll have to pay full price.
