Micheál Dyer met Conor McCallion at the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology. Dyer, a chef, was studying culinary arts; McCallion was studying hospitality management. “We had a lot of the same lectures and the same interests and just clicked very fast,” the former says.
Dyer soon learnt his new friend also shared his entrepreneurial ambitions. When working in the US in 2013 on student visas, they found business inspiration in the gym.
