From EXO to Post Malone: The live shows taking over Hong Kong in 2026

Hong Kong’s 2026 live calendar spans a wide range of sound and scale. From EXO’s long-awaited return to Post Malone’s stadium show at Kai Tak, the lineup moves between K-pop, R&B and global pop. Along the way, major artists like Laufey, ITZY and IVE shape a season defined by range and momentum. Here are the key shows to know this year

Laufey arrives in Hong Kong this May, opening the Asia leg of her A Matter of Time Tour with a one-night show at AsiaWorld-Arena. Following her 2024 visit, she continues to build a devoted global following, with recent runs across North America and Europe selling out quickly. Her latest album, “A Matter of Time,” deepens her blend of jazz and pop, pairing nostalgic melodies with a modern sensibility. Moving between piano, guitar and cello, her performances carry a cinematic quality, with fan favourites like “From the Start” and “Valentine” expected on the setlist.

In early June, Daniel Caesar heads back to Hong Kong following his 2023 Superpowers World Tour, bringing his recent album “Son of Spergy” to the city. Since his 2017 breakthrough album “Freudian,” he has remained a defining voice in contemporary R&B, known for a sound rooted in soul and gospel. His latest work leans further into introspection, exploring love, faith and family through restrained, expressive vocals. Tracks like “Who Knows” point to a more reflective direction, with the live show expected to focus on atmosphere rather than scale.

EXO – EXhOrizon Tour (June 13–14, AsiaWorld-Arena)

By mid-June, EXO steps back onto the Hong Kong stage with EXhOrizon Tour, marking their first tour following a long-awaited group comeback earlier this year, after completing their military service. Backed by their latest album “REVERXE,” the setlist is expected to balance new material, including the lead single “Crown,” with defining hits such as “Growl,” “Monster” and “Love Shot.” Across two nights, the concerts reflect both renewed momentum and sustained global demand.

ITZY – TUNNEL VISION World Tour (June 20, AsiaWorld-Arena)

Just a week later, ITZY takes the stage in Hong Kong at the TUNNEL VISION World Tour, following the release of their eleventh mini-album of the same name in late 2025. The tour marks their first full-group comeback after Lia’s hiatus, making it a notable moment for the group. Known for their sharp choreography and high-energy staging, ITZY’s performances are built on pace and precision. The show offers global fans a chance to see all five members on stage together again, delivering one of the most performance-driven sets of the season.

IVE – SHOW WHAT I AM World Tour (September 4–5, AsiaWorld-Arena)

After the summer stretch, IVE lands in Hong Kong with the SHOW WHAT I AM World Tour, their second global concert series. Following their debut tour SHOW WHAT I HAVE, this new chapter signals a shift toward a more defined sense of identity and artistic maturity. The shows are expected to highlight their latest release, “REVIVE+,” featuring tracks like “Bang Bang,” alongside solo stages that showcase each member’s individuality. Across two nights, IVE continues to position itself at the forefront of K-pop’s current generation.

The season closes at its largest scale as Post Malone makes his Hong Kong comeback, three years after his 2023 If Y’all Weren’t Here, I’d Be Crying Tour. This time, he brings The BIG Stadium World Tour to Kai Tak Stadium. The set is expected to draw from his 2024 country-leaning album “F-1 Trillion,” which debuted atop the Billboard 200, alongside hits like “Rockstar” and “Sunflower.” Joining him is special guest Don Toliver, whose recent chart success with the album “OCTANE” adds further momentum to one of the year’s biggest live shows.
