The New Orleans Recreation Development Commission has launched Kid Café, a free after-school meal program for youth 18 and younger. The program, run with Second Harvest Food Bank, No Kid Hungry and Share Our Strength, gives students access to nutritious meals during the school year at after-school sites across the city.Meals are available Monday through Friday from 3-6 p.m. at NORD recreation centers.
