A police spokesman said the man was unconscious when he was taken to Tuen Mun Hospital.

A video circulating online, apparently taken by a passer-by, showed three officers, one wearing a helmet, attending to an unresponsive person on the ground.

In the footage, another officer can be heard asking who fired the shots, as the helmeted officer raises his hand.
