Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 has received an exciting update.
Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again premiered on Disney+ last year. Serving as a continuation of the Netflix Daredevil series, the second season of Born Again, which comes from showrunner Dario Scardapane, arrives later this month. It has already been renewed for a third season.
What is the Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 update?
Arty Froushan, who plays Buck Cashman in the series, confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 will begin production this spring.
“I’m going to be filming some of season three of Daredevil, which is the Marvel series I’ve been doing on and off,” Froushan said. “That’ll be coming up in spring.”
It was previously known that production on Season 3 was expected to begin in 2026; however, there’s some insight to be gained about its release date now that we know that filming will begin sometime in the coming weeks and months. While the first season of Born Again had a complicated production history, filming on Season 2 began in February 2025 before it wrapped in July.
This means that, if Born Again starts production in early spring, the MCU show could potentially continue its tradition of premiering on Disney+ in March. A March release date is still possible if production doesn’t begin until later on in the spring, though that might make things slightly more rushed.
For now, not much is known about Daredevil: Born Again Season 3, as Marvel Studios will likely wait until Season 2 is finished before they start revealing what the future holds in store for the show that stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Wilson Fisk/Kingpin. Scardapane recently hinted that Season 3 might not be as much about politics and instead will do something “a little more street level,” but further details beyond that remain under wraps at this time.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 premieres on March 24, 2026.
