There is something new in the air, or should I say on the air on Arkansas TV. They will be serving up a new show this spring with the premiere of ‘Arkansas Taste Kitchen’.
With the Arkansas PBS station cutting ties with PBS and renaming itself Arkansas TV the are committed to their promise of being more Arkansas than ever, and they are off to a great start with this new show.

‘Arkansas Taste Kitchen’ will debut on Thursday, March 5. The Arkansas-produced series is hosted by Craig O’Neill and will focus on making healthy, flavor-filled meals that are affordable and full of local flair.
The show was filmed in the kitchens of the University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College (UA-PTC), and pairs home-style cooking with expert insight from both culinary and nutrition professionals. Each episode will highlight how food can bring people together while supporting healthier lifestyles.

Local Experts & Real-Life Cooking on New Arkansas Cooking Show
According to a press release, joining O’Neill are UA-PTC Master Chef and instructor Dr. Robert Hall and UAMS Culinary Medicine nutrition expert Alyssa Frisby. Together, they will show how cooking at home doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive to be both nutritious and delicious. Viewers will also pick up helpful tips on portion sizes, reading food labels, and understanding nutritional value.
Arkansas TV Executive Director and CEO Carlton Wing says the series reflects the network’s commitment to Arkansas families, adding that the show proves healthy meals can still be satisfying and full of flavor.
