Available for £9.99 and in the supermarket’s eye-catching navy, orange, red and white, die-hard Aldi fans will be able to get their hands on the limited-edition product in stores on October 23.
While almost £10 for a shopping bag seems a lot, the retailer says it’s a significant saving compared to the £13.99 price point of other Anya Hindmarch collaborations.
Rolling out to over 1,000 stores across the UK, this Specialbuy is expected to fly off the shelve so shoppers will need to mark their calendars and prepare to act fast – as with all Specialbuys, once they’re gone, they’re gone!
Designed by fashion designer Anya Hindmarch, the Aldi Universal Bag is crafted from 100% recycled plastic and fully certified under the Global Recycling Scheme (GRS). Designed with durability in mind to handle the weekly shop, it features iconic Aldi colours with a stylish navy base enhanced with vibrant orange, red and white detailing.

The bag also features a clever, convenient freepost returns pocket built right into the bag.
Once it reaches the end of its long life, shoppers can turn the bag into its built-in pocket, which acts as a pre-addressed envelope, and post it to be 100% recycled locally.
Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK says: “We are so excited to be collaborating with Anya Hindmarch on the launch of the new Universal Bag. Not only made from 100% recycled materials, but it is also incredibly durable, designed to handle the big weekly shop and perfectly sized for middle aisle Specialbuys.”
Aldi’s Anya Hindmarch’s collaboration tote will be available to buy in stores from October 23, while stocks last
