AD Ports Group has opened its first office in China. The new base in the Beijing-Tianjin region marks a major step in its global expansion.
The office will lead the Group’s investment and commercial activities across China and Asia. It also brings the Group closer to key partners, clients, and government bodies.
Noatum Logistics, the Group’s logistics arm, will run a commercial branch from the same location. The Beijing-Tianjin area is home to over 110 million people.
In addition, this move supports AD Ports Group’s plans to grow along China’s Belt and Road network. That includes sea and land routes linking Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.
The office will also help attract Chinese investors to the UAE. It creates a direct gateway between China and the Group’s global logistics network.
”AD Ports Group shares China’s vision for greater cross border integration, and through our newly established Beijing office, we will work closely with our Chinese partners to support the expansion of key local, regional and international trade corridors and deliver cutting edge shipping, infrastructure, and logistics solutions,” commented Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, Managing Director and Group CEO, AD Ports Group.
Also, AD Ports Group plans to expand Noatum’s services in China. The goal is to offer full end-to-end logistics tailored to China’s fast-growing market.
China’s logistics sector is expected to grow 4.6% annually through 2030. The Group wants to become a key player across supply chains in the region.
Lastly, the launch builds on strong partnerships with Chinese firms. These include JOCIC in Abu Dhabi and COSCO’s terminal at Khalifa Port. Many Chinese companies also operate in KEZAD, the UAE’s largest industrial zone.
