Alley Mills returns as Heather Webber on General Hospital
Mills made her last appearance nearly two years ago and is confirmed to return, as per a report by TV Insider. In a conversation with the outlet, Valentini shared his thoughts on Mills’ return as Heather Webber. He said, “We’re thrilled to have Alley Mills back as Heather. There’s never a dull moment when Heather Webber is in Port Charles, and Alley is ready to stir up some trouble!” She is set to first appear on Thursday, November 5.
During a 2024 storyline, Heather found herself in Pentonville, but doctors discovered that a faulty hip replacement had caused cobalt poisoning. At the time, concerns arose about whether this medical condition had contributed to her increasingly violent behavior. After surgeons removed the faulty hip, she became less violent and more rational. This suggested that her condition may have influenced the crimes she committed while ill and that she may not bear legal responsibility for them.
The court overturned Heather’s conviction, and authorities released her from Pentonville Penitentiary. When Steven returned to Port Charles, Curtis Ashford urged him to take his mother out of town so she could start a new life away from the chaos. Georganne LaPiere originally introduced the character of Heather Webber in 1976. Mary O’Brien and Robin Mattson later took over the role before Mills stepped into it in 2022.
