Coffee Run is a woman-owned mobile coffee trailer serving specialty lattes and drinks around Youngstown, Salem and Warren.

“I started Coffee Run alongside my husband in October 2024, so we will also be celebrating our second birthday soon, which we’re so excited about,” owner Darla Schafer said. “Even from the very beginning, the goal was always to eventually expand into a brick-and-mortar location, but the support from our regulars helped make that dream a reality much quicker than I could have ever anticipated.”

“I’ve had so many amazing memories with the trailer so far, but I’d have to say my absolute favorite has been bringing Coffee Run to my niece’s high school graduation party,” Schafer said. “Helping people celebrate special moments is always the best part of this job.”

Coffee Run’s grand opening is from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. featuring giveaways throughout the day, including free coffee for a year, a private event package with our coffee trailer for the winner and up to 24 guests and several other prizes.

Special drinks on the menu for the month include the crème brûlée cold brew, confetti cake latte and fruit loop matcha.

“We also absolutely plan on keeping the trailer,” Schafer said. “We’ll still be available for booking both private and public events, and we actually have many events booked for 2027 that we’re really looking forward to.”
