MADRID, 23 August 2026 (Hina) – Spain’s recent World Cup triumph has sent interest in the national team soaring, with tickets for their upcoming Nations League matches against Croatia in Seville and the Czech Republic in Oviedo selling out within just a few hours of going on sale, the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has announced
Tickets for Spain vs Croatia, scheduled for 29 September at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium in Seville, sold out almost immediately after sales opened.
The same happened for Spain’s match against the Czech Republic on 3 October at the Carlos Tartiere Stadium in Oviedo.
“You are incredible,” the Spanish federation told supporters on X.
“In just a few hours… tickets for the matches in Seville and Oviedo have sold out. Thank you for always being there for us. We cannot wait to experience it all together,” the federation added.
The Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, home of La Liga club Sevilla, has a capacity of around 43,000 spectators.
Croatian supporters can still purchase tickets allocated to them, which will be made available through the Croatian Football Federation (HNS).
An HNS spokesperson told HINA that sales for the Croatian allocation have not yet begun and that ticket prices have also not been set.
“We expect all those details at the beginning of September,” the spokesperson said, without revealing how many tickets the HNS has been allocated.
The Nations League group also includes England and the Czech Republic.
Spain, the reigning European champions, won the World Cup last month, defeating South American champions Argentina 1-0 in the final, which was played in the United States.
The sell-out in Seville highlights the strong demand surrounding Spain following their latest international success, with Croatia set to face one of the most closely followed national teams in Europe on 29 September.
