Sebastian Stan‘s star-studded actioner, plus a major finale and other new Peacock releases arriving this week.
Arriving August 21, The 355 is a spy action thriller directed by Simon Kinberg. The 2022 film follows an international team of female operatives. Together, they race to recover a top-secret digital weapon before it unleashes global chaos.
The film is led by Jessica Chastain as Mason “Mace” Brown, alongside Lupita Nyong’o as Khadijah Adiyeme, and Penélope Cruz as Graciela Rivera. Joining them are Diane Kruger as Marie Schmidt, Fan Bingbing as Lin Mi Sheng, Sebastian Stan as Nick Fowler, and Édgar Ramírez as Luis Rojas.
Also dropping on the same day is She Dances. It’s a 2026 indie dramedy directed by Rick Gomez and co-written by Gomez and Steve Zahn. The story follows a grieving, divorced dad played by Zahn. He takes a road trip to chaperone his teenage daughter Claire to her final high school dance competition. Zahn’s real-life daughter, Audrey Zahn, plays Claire.
Another unmissable release on Peacock this week is The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys, Season 3 Finale, on August 18. This season, the family faces major fallout after a federal court sentences the patriarch, Steve McBee Sr., to prison for crop insurance fraud. Bank debt keeps piling up, and Cole’s secret Las Vegas wedding to Kacie shocks matriarch Kristi.
