It is now confirmed that Atalanta will play against Hapoel Tel-Aviv in the Conference League play-offs, with the first leg on August 20.
La Dea won the Europa League trophy in 2024 and were in the Champions League last season, but a rough campaign saw them only qualify for the Conference League this time around.
Atalanta will face Hapoel Tel-Aviv

They must still go through the preliminary round, and were waiting to find out who their opponents would be.
That was clarified this evening, as Hapoel Tel-Aviv beat GKS Katowice 3-2 on aggregate.
They won the first leg 2-0 and lost the second in Poland 2-1.
Atalanta will play the first leg in Bergamo on Thursday August 20, kicking off at 19.30 UK time (20.30 CEST).
The second leg will be on neutral turf at the DVTK Stadium in Miskolc, Hungary, on August 27 at 19.00 UK time (20.00 CEST).
Whoever wins will then go on to play in the group stage of the Conference League in the 2026/27 campaign.
