Before you know it, the 2026/27 Premier League season will be upon us. Arsenal, fresh off a league title, will open the season against a Coventry side playing their first EPL match since 2001. Though the transfer market is far from settled, we have a good idea of what these squads will look like and a grasp of potential title winners. Let’s dig into the current odds and find the best value to take home the title.
Here’s a look at the current 2026/27 EPL title odds on the DraftKings Sportsbook:
Arsenal, the defending champions, are the favorites at +150. Manchester City, runners-up in 25/26 and four-time champs this decade, come in second. After winning the league title in 2024/25, Liverpool have fallen to third following a chaotic 2025/26 season. The resurgent Red Devils of Manchester United are tied for fourth place at +800 with Chelsea. A nearly-relegated Tottenham Hotspur side rounds out the Big Six at +2200.
From there, we get into the true long shots. Aston Villa, the defending Europa League champions, have a tier of their own at +5000. A pair of consistent top 8-10 finishers with upside in Newcastle and Brighton are tied at +15000. Then we have a set of consistently mid-table teams at +25000: Leeds United, Everton, Crystal Palace, Brentford, and Bournemouth. Lower-table teams Sunderland, Fulham, and Nottingham Forest draw even at +50000. Then you have the three promoted sides: Ipswich, Coventry, and Hull City.
Now that we know the field, let’s get into the best bets here.
Best English Premier League Title Bet
I’m looking squarely at the two Manchester clubs here, starting with City.
Though second in odds, City are undoubtedly a value here. Their standards are set higher than anyone else’s after winning four straight titles to begin the 2020s. Two years without a domestic title is a failure in their eyes, and this is the lowest they’ll look now that Pep Guardiola has left. However, I trust in Enzo Maresca, his hand-picked successor. They’ll have a full summer to get Antoine Semenyo acclimated following an excellent few months with the club last year, and I think the departures of Rodrí and Bernardo Silva will help them in the long run as they add more youth and pace to the lineup. City are my favorites to win the upcoming title, and at near three-to-one odds, they’re a value.
I’m also looking at United. After getting rid of the curse of manager Ruben Amorim, the vibes are undoubtedly higher with Michael Carrick at the helm. I love their transfer window, which saw a thoroughly washed Casemiro depart for the MLS while the midfield was strengthened by the signings of Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans. Marcus Rashford is back in town, and they have a diverse attacking group to work with around all-world No. 10 Bruno Fernandes. I still have questions about the defense, but if they can get some healthy run from Matthijs de Ligt, watch out for this team. Eight-to-one odds are a great bet for a powerful club that is back on the rise.
If you’re looking for a real hail mary, Aston Villa is the bet. They are on an outstanding run given their club’s previous standing, placing in the top seven in four straight Premier League campaigns, including two top-four finishes. Last year, Villa won the Europa League while securing a Champions League berth. That kind of success placed them in a great financial position, which they only multiplied by selling Morgan Rogers to Chelsea for a whopping €138 million. That may just be the newest version of the Phillippe Coutinho sale, which propelled Liverpool to their recent success.
Villa may have taken one step backward to take two steps forward, but there’s reason to believe they can take those steps this season. The Johan Manzambi transfer was a big one, and the 20-year-old should play a big role in their attack. João Gomes will replace the outgoing Youri Tielemans, injecting some pace and youth to the midfield. And they took a big swing by loaning in Alejandro Garnacho, as talented as they come but awfully inconsistent. If he can play some consistent football, their attack won’t lose a step despite Rogers’ departure. With a strong defense backstopped by Emiliano Martinez in goal, the floor for Villa is quite high, and I’m convinced enough by the ceiling to take a swing on Villa at +5000.
