Celebrities are reacting to being selected for a star on the esteemed Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Among the 2027 class, announced on Thursday, July 23, are 32 of the biggest names in different sectors of the entertainment industry, picked by a committee from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
Actress Keke Palmer was selected in the television category, and she shared a video of her reaction to the news on Instagram.

“Thank you so much to the (Hollywood Chamber of Commerce), my team, and the people that have built me up and helped me get to this incredible place,” she wrote in the caption. “And my family, that has worked so hard my whole life for this incredible honor, this star belongs to all of us!!!!”
Other celebrities in her group are Raven-Symoné, David Alan Grier, Lisa Kudrow, Bill Lawrence, Pedro Pascal, Adam Scott and Jeff Probst.
Lil Wayne responds to accolade announcement

Rapper Lil Wayne expressed excitement in a post on X after hearing from his friend and collaborator Fabian Marasciullo that he is included in the recording category.
Other artists receiving the historic honor are Karol G, Sia, David Guetta, Linkin Park, Smashing Pumpkins, The Ramones, Marc Shaiman, Joseph Saddler (also known as Grandmaster Flash) and Waylon Jennings posthumously.
