ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — The Premier League is planning to host multiple events celebrating the opening weekend of the 2026-27 season in the United States, with multiple set for Atlanta.
The league is planning 20 events throughout the country, one for each of the league’s clubs.
Atlanta will play host to the events for west London rivals Brentford FC and Fulham FC.
Brentford’s event will take place Saturday, Aug. 22 and Fulham’s will take place Monday, Aug. 24.
Times and locations for the events have yet to be announced. The league said they will be announced at a later date.
Brentford’s opening fixture against Tottenham Hotspur will kick off at 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 22 and Fulham’s opening fixture against Chelsea will kick off at 3 p.m. on Aug. 24.
