Why Italy must keep chasing Pep Guardiola despite major obstacles

La Gazzetta dello Sport believes the Italian Football Federation should continue pursuing Pep Guardiola as Italy’s next coach, despite acknowledging there are significant obstacles standing in the way of any potential appointment.

In an editorial, the Milan-based newspaper argued that while the chances of convincing the Manchester City boss appear increasingly remote, the FIGC should not abandon what it sees as the ideal solution for the Azzurri’s future.
