According to Deadline, Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios have decided to recast the lead role after Hurst sustained a torn bicep while filming a stunt in Vancouver. The actor later underwent surgery, with no clear timeline for his return. The series paused production immediately after the accident and remains on hiatus.
