Real Madrid Announces Signing of Dutchman Dumfries Until 2030

Madrid – Saba:

Real Madrid, runners-up in the Spanish football league, announced on Sunday the official signing of Dutch right-back Denzel Dumfries from Italian club Inter Milan.

The club said in a statement: “Real Madrid and Inter Milan have reached an agreement for the transfer of player Denzel Dumfries, who will join our club for the next four seasons, until June 30, 2030.”

The 30-year-old Dutch international spent five years at Inter Milan, having joined them from PSV Eindhoven in 2021.

During his time with Inter Milan, the Dutch player made 207 appearances, scoring 27 goals and providing 28 assists, and won the Italian league title in 2024 and 2026.

On the international stage, Dumfries played for the Netherlands in the 2026 World Cup, where they were eliminated in the Round of 32 by Morocco.

The player was under contract with Inter Milan until 2028, with a release clause of €20 million.

With this signing, Dumfries becomes Real Madrid’s fourth addition for the upcoming season, following the arrivals of Spaniard Marc Cucurella, Frenchman Ibrahima Konaté, and Portuguese Bernardo Silva.
