The sports comedy flick follows four lifelong friends who set out on an unforgettable journey to see Tom Brady play in Super Bowl LI, witnessing one of the greatest comebacks in sports history.
Written by Sarah Haskins and Emily Halpern, the film is inspired by a real-life group of Patriots fans known as the Over 80 for Brady club. The idea was pitched by the grandson of one of the members. Made on a budget of $28 million, 80 for Brady grossed $40.4 million at the global box office despite mixed reviews.
