It’s only June, but head coach P.J. Fleck and co. may very well be putting the finishing touches on this recruiting class, with Florida cornerback prospect Jyden German the latest to grab an oar.

German is a track standout with verified elite speed (10.5–10.55 in the 100 meters and ~22.07 in the 200) and a multi-sport sport. His ceiling as a cornerback is as a press-man or field corner who can match vertical routes and close space quickly. German still needs to keep adding strength and mass to be able to compete in the Big Ten in press coverage, perimeter run support, and tackling, while continuing to refine technical cornerback skills — route recognition, eye discipline, transitions, and ball skills.
