The Princess of Wales, like all busy moms, is not immune from hearing her children squabble, especially when it comes to music preference.
While visiting The Christie NHS Foundation Trust on June 4, Princess Kate remarked how difficult it was to get Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis on the same page about the soundtrack for their morning commute, saying “everyone wants different things.”
“We do this on the school run in the morning, everyone wants different songs,” the princess said. “Charlotte wants Taylor Swift, George wants some rock. He loves some AC/DC… He plays the guitar. And then Louis wants Alex Warren.”
“Everyone’s wanting a different thing,” she added.
According to People, all three royal children have attended the prestigious Lambrook School in Windsor since 2022, with Prince George set to age out of prep school when he turns 13 later this summer.
Prince of Wales holding out for Taylor Swift wedding invite
In a May 22 appearance on U.K. radio show “Heart Breakfast,” the Prince of Wales said he was holding out “hope” for an invite to Taylor Swift’s nuptials.
“No comment,” Prince William joked, cracking a smile. “Exactly, I will be careful. That feels like a showbiz excuse but it’s not.”
“I’m hoping and I’m sure there might be an invitation around, but we’ll see, we’ll see,” he added.
William’s admission comes nearly two years after he and Princess Charlotte were spotted dancing along to Swift’s “Shake It Off” during the first night of the Eras Tour stop in London, an experience he remembers fondly.
“Charlotte, my daughter, and Louis, to be fair both. Charlotte particularly is obsessed by Taylor Swift, and we went to see her on her Eras Tour, and it was amazing,” he said. “It was at Wembley, so we had a box, so we were watching from up there, which is quite a long way from where the actual action’s happening. The atmosphere was so incredible, you could actually feel the floors shaking when they were all dancing, so its brilliant.”
After watching the show from their box at Wembley Stadium, Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte headed backstage for some one-on-one time with the “All Too Well” singer and then fiancé Travis Kelce.
