Newcastle United and Bournemouth have reportedly approached current Torino scouting chief Enrico Paresce, who already discovered stars for Milan and Roma.
According to Corriere dello Sport and Teleradiostereo journalist Eleonora Trotta, the two Premier League clubs have asked around for the availability of the Italian talent hunter.
Paresce impressed long before Torino
Although he only turned 40 in March, Paresce has a long career behind him in Italian football and beyond.
He was a talent scout for the likes of Roma, Spezia, Siena and Milan, where he provided crucial indications leading to the signing of Theo Hernandez for the Rossoneri and goalkeeper Mile Svilar at the Giallorossi.

He was promoted to scouting director at French club Stade Rennes in the 2024-25 season, then returned to Italy last summer to fill the same position at Serie A side Torino.
Paresce is already familiar to current Bournemouth sporting director Tiago Pinto, as they worked together at Roma.

Newcastle United are also believed to be seeking his talent-spotting ability.
