The Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) announced that its flagship European trade show will take place in Lisbon, Portugal, in 2027.
World of Coffee Lisbon is scheduled for June 17-19, 2027, at the Lisbon Exhibition and Congress Centre, or FIL, in the Parque das Nações district north of the city center.
The Lisbon show will mark the first time a World of Coffee event has taken place in Portugal. The announcement comes roughly three weeks ahead of World of Coffee Brussels, taking place June 25-27, 2026, in Brussels, Belgium.
The 2027 event is also slated to host three World Coffee Championships: the World Latte Art Championship, the World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship and the Cezve/Ibrik Championship.
Additional upcoming World of Coffee trade shows are scheduled for Panama City, Panama (October 2026), Dubai (January 2027), New Orleans (April 2027), Tokyo (April/May 2027) and Bogotá, Colombia (September/October 2027).
The SCA, a trade group that grew out of a merger between the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) and the Specialty Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE) a decade ago, has increasingly sought to reach global audiences through its trade show network and other licensed programming. The group remains registered in the U.S. and UK.
