A coffee shop in London has attracted a lot of online attention for its Avengers: Doomsday-themed merchandise. The shop also displays a board with a particular sentence that many fans believe could be a tease for a major plot point in the upcoming film.
Avengers: Doomsday coffee shop spotted in London
Earlier today, an Avengers: Doomsday-themed coffee shop was spotted in London. This isn’t a brand-new shop but rather a cafe named Flying Horse Coffee that appears to have a promotional tie-in with Marvel. A fan shared a short video of the shop on social media.
It begins with a focus on a batch of small, packaged Latveria-branded coffee beans in a black zipper bag with green labeling. The top label reads, “Dom Latveria Coffee.” Notably, Latveria is a fictional country in Marvel Comics ruled by the supervillain Doctor Doom.
A second label reads “The Official Coffee of World Domination.” It further states that it was “Approved by the Ministry of Morale,” which is the fictional government of Latveria. On the right, it reads, “Resistance Is Delicious.” At the bottom, the label reveals that the beans were sourced from “Finca Latveria Reserve” by “Those Who Serve” and that they are 100% Arabica.
The video then pans to the menu board. A small part of it reads “Welcome to Latveria.” Beneath it, it says “Richards Was Wrong.” This may be referring to Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, though what he is wrong about is not clear.
The promotion has sparked a lot of online discussion among fans. Many are already theorizing about how the hints could play out in Avengers: Doomsday. Meanwhile, some users, who were expecting a trailer drop, expressed disappointment.
For context, the Russo Brothers posted an image on their Instagram with an address in the caption, which turned out to be the coffee shop. They also mentioned that there would be a “surprise at 2 pm BST.”
Avengers: Doomsday debuts on December 18, 2026.
