La Liga heavyweights Barcelona have on Saturday taken to social media, to send a message of congratulations the way of Paris Saint-Germain.
This of course comes fresh off the capital outfit retaining their status as European champions.
PSG were back in action on Saturday evening, making the trip to Budapest for a Champions League finale showdown with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
When all was said and done, the tournament holders clinched their 2nd Champions League title in succession, courtesy of a penalty shootout triumph.
And as alluded to above, amongst the first to send a congratulatory message the way of PSG were none other than Barcelona.
In a post across the club’s social media platforms, also recognising the contributions of ex-Blaugrana player and manager Luis Enrique, Barca wrote:
‘Congratulations to PSG for winning the Champions League and to Luis Enrique for adding a new title to his collection of achievements.’
