Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala is thrilled to be back with the German national team ahead of the World Cup.
”I’m really happy. It feels like I haven’t been here in a very long time. The first few days have been great, the atmosphere in the team – I’m really enjoying myself here,” Musiala said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). “The team has gelled a bit better since the EUROs, the automatisms are very similar, sometimes even identical. Now we notice that when we repeat things, it doesn’t take as long for them to work well as before. Now it’s very harmonious, everyone gets along well.”
One aspect of his return that Musiala is looking forward to, is teaming back up with Liverpool star Florian Wirtz.
“I’ve missed playing with him, it’s really fun to be on the pitch with him. Now the focus is entirely on Finland, but we’re already looking forward to playing at the World Cup together,” Musiala noted.
