One of Netflix‘s hit comedy-drama TV shows officially returns today with an all-new season, featuring a major change in its main cast. As of today, all eight episodes of The Four Seasons Season 2 are now available for streaming on Netflix.
What do we know about Netflix’s The Four Seasons 2?
The next chapter of The Four Seasons continues to be led by Tina Fey as Kate, Colman Domingo as Danny, Will Forte as Jack, Marco Calvani as Claude, Kerri Kenney-Silver as Anne, and Erika Henningsen as Ginny. Noticeably missing from the Season 2 lineup is Golden Globe winner Steve Carell, who played the role of Nick in the first installment.

Carell’s character died in a car accident towards the end of Season 1, where it was also revealed that his 32-year-old girlfriend is now pregnant with his child. Despite not returning as a main cast member, it’s expected that the effect of Nick’s death will be a big part of Season 2, as his friends continue to grieve him.
“Coming off a hard year, our group of friends carries on their tradition of vacationing together – now with a baby in tow. The Four Seasons picks back up with the core group – Kate, Jack, Anne, Danny, Claude, and Ginny – as they journey from the familiar comforts of the Jersey shore and upstate New York to the stunning landscapes of Italy. With warmth and wit, personal blind spots surface for the group as they each grieve their late friend and embark on new adventures,” reads the show’s newest logline.
The Four Seasons is co-created, written, and executive-produced by showrunners Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield. Executive producers are David Miner, Jeff Richmond, and Eric Gurian, with Alda and Marissa Bregman serving as producers. The first season debuted with a Certified Fresh score of 78% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 80 reviews.
