CazeTV, the Brazilian sports streaming channel run by YouTuber Casemiro Miguel, has strengthened its grip on the country’s sports scene by securing a major rights agreement covering Spanish soccer’s top-tier LaLiga.
The deal, which covers the 2026-27 to 2031-32 seasons, will see CazeTV’s YouTube channel become the league’s main rightsholder in Brazil, which will provide live coverage of all games for the duration of the six-year contract.

As part of the agreement, CazeTV will also gain the right to distribute ancillary content and highlights across its other social media platforms.
CazeTV replaces media giant Disney, whose five-year rights deal, running between the 2020-21 and 2025-26 seasons, is coming to an end. Over the course of its contract, it has aired matches via its international sports broadcaster, ESPN, and the Fox Sports network.
Satellite television operator DirecTV has aired all of ESPN’s LaLiga matches in Brazil via its pay-TV service and DirecTV Go platform via a sublicensing deal.
The 2025-26 LaLiga season is due to end next weekend, with clubs playing their final matches on May 23 and 24. Barcelona claimed the championship title on May 10 after beating rivals Real Madrid 2-0.
Felipe Aquilino, Partner at CazéTV, said: “Bringing LaLiga to CazéTV means adding one of the most iconic competitions in world football to our portfolio.
“We’re talking about a league that brings together some of the greatest clubs, players, and stories in the sport, with enormous global relevance and a strong connection with the Brazilian public.
“It’s content that represents tradition, quality, and immense value for football fans, and it arrives to further strengthen our offering of major sporting events, expanding access and deepening the fan’s connection with the best of world sport.”
The new deal comes as LaLiga looks to expand its footprint in the country, with the league featuring several Brazilian legends throughout its history, including Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Marcelo, Roberto Carlos, Romario, Neymar, and Bebeto.
Even now, the league still boasts a number of prominent Brazilian players, including Real Madrid group Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, Eder Militao, and Endrick, Barcelona forward Raphinha, and Real Betis winger Antony.
It is looking to target new audiences through the deal, particularly the younger demographics, with CazeTV fast becoming the main rightsholder of major sports leagues and events in the country.
LaLiga president Javier Tebas said: “Brazil is a strategic market for LaLiga, due to the passion of its fans, the cultural power of football in the country, and the deep connection our competition has always had with Brazilian talent.
“This partnership with CazéTV represents a very important opportunity to bring LALIGA even closer to Brazilian fans through a far-reaching digital distribution model, aligned with how new audiences consume sports today.
“We are very happy to begin this new stage with a partner that understands the local audience so well and has a unique ability to generate conversation, reach, and engagement in Brazil.”
First launched in 2022, CazeTV covered action from the men’s 2022 FIFA World Cup, before securing rights to all 104 matches from soccer’s flagship FIFA 2026 World Cup being held across the US, Canada, and Mexico.
It snapped up domestic rights to the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2027, which will be held in Brazil, to provide exclusive live coverage of all 64 matches to its wide-reaching audience on third-party digital platforms.
This year alone, the streamer acquired near-live and highlights rights for a range of top-tier South American soccer properties through 2026, and rights for the top-tier Copa Libertadores and second-tier Copa Sudamericana pan-continental club competitions.
The streamer also added Italy’s Serie A to its soccer offering for the 2025-26 season and, more recently, added German soccer’s Bundesliga to its portfolio.
Most recently, the channel diversified its portfolio by securing a rights deal with the International Olympic Committee to air the Olympic Games through 2028, as well as with World Table Tennis (WTT), the organization that manages the International Table Tennis Federation’s (ITTF) commercial rights.
The platform has also shown action from some of the most high-profile sporting events worldwide, including all NFL American football games played internationally.
The deal comes amid a significant growth period for CazeTV, with its parent company, LiveMode, the Brazilian sports marketing agency, securing soccer icon Cristiano Ronaldo as a major investor last week.
In December, LiveMode expanded into Ronaldo’s native Portugal with LiveModeTV, launching a digital channel and securing rights to the top match per game per day (34 in total) from the 2026 FIFA World Cup soccer tournament across June and July, which it will air for free on YouTube.
In a statement, Ronaldo said that the deal will seek to “enrich the ecosystem, extending the reach and involvement of the main competitions through broadcasts on YouTube and content distributed on all social media platforms for everyone.”
