Netflix‘s new TV and movie release schedule for this week (May 18 – May 24, 2026) includes a science fiction horror film written and directed by Jordan Peele.
Directed and produced by Jordan Peele, Nope follows a pair of siblings sensing a UFO floating in the skies above their family ranch. The chilling discovery then turns their lives upside down. Nope opened to positive reviews and emerged as a success at the box office, grossing $172 million worldwide.
The star cast features Daniel Kaluuya, Keke Palmer, Steven Yeun, Michael Wincott, Brandon Perea, and many others in key roles.
Also coming to Netflix this week is Ladies First. The comedy-drama chronicles the adventures of a male chauvinist who ends up getting transported to a matriarchal society.
