The Copenhagen Test
Peacock canceled The Copenhagen Test after one season on April 15, 2026. Simu Liu starred in the espionage thriller, which debuted all eight episodes on December 27, 2025. The show earned a 71% Rotten Tomatoes score but struggled with viewership.
Nielsen data showed the series accumulated 373 million minutes viewed in its first tracking week. It secured the number 10 spot on the streaming originals chart but never returned to the top 10.
Renewed for the Last Season

MGM+ renewed From for a fifth and final season on April 15, 2026. The sci-fi horror series starring Harold Perrineau remains the most-watched show on the platform. Creator John Griffin told The Hollywood Reporter the team always planned five seasons. “But we all came to the realization that if we made that sixth season, it would be for us,” Griffin said. Season 4 premieres on April 19, 2026.
Wizards Beyond Waverly Place
Disney renewed Wizards Beyond Waverly Place for a third and final season on April 2, 2026. The coming-of-age comedy will wrap up with a four-part event. Emmy nominee Selena Gomez will reprise her role as Alex Russo in the final season. Gomez will also direct the premiere episode, marking her directorial debut. The event is expected to premiere this summer on Disney+ and Disney Channel.
