Netflix Show Stars Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan

Netflix has released the teaser trailer for Beef Season 2, the Emmy Award-winning show that returns with a new cast, including Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan.

The logline reads, “Beef returns with a new cast and a new ‘beef,’ as a Gen-Z couple witnesses an alarming fight between their Millennial boss and his wife, setting off a high-stakes game of favors and coercion within an elitist world ruled by a Korean billionaire.

What happens in the Beef Season 2 teaser trailer?

The teaser trailer introduces the couples involved in this season’s “beef.” Isaac plays Josh Martin, while Mulligan plays his wife, Lindsay Crane-Martín. Charles Melton stars as Austin Davis, and Cailee Spaeny portrays Austin’s fiancée, Ashley Miller.

Beef Season 2 also stars Youn Yuh-jung as Chairwoman Park, Song Kang-ho as Dr. Kim, Seoyeon Jang as Eunice, William Fichtner as Troy, Mikaela Hoover as Ava, and BM as Woosh.

“Ashley (Spaeny) and Austin (Melton), both lower-level staff at a country club, become entangled in the unraveling marriage of their general manager, Josh (Isaac), and his wife, Lindsay (Mulligan),” the official synopsis reads. “Through favors and coercion, both couples vie for the approval of the elitist club’s billionaire owner, Chairwoman Park (Youn Yuh Jung), who struggles to manage her own scandal involving her second husband, Doctor Kim (Song Kang Ho).”

Lee Sung Jin is the creator, showrunner, and executive producer of Beef Season 2. Additional executive producers include Isaac, Mulligan, Melton, Spaeny, Jake Schreier, Steven Yeun, Ali Wong, Anna Moench, Kitao Sakurai, and Ethan Kuperberg.

Released in April 2023, Beef Season 1 garnered positive reception and significant critical acclaim. Beef won eight Emmys, including Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series.

All eight episodes of Beef Season 2 will premiere on April 16, 2026.
